Miguelangelo Veiga graduated in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon.
He develops his research in the field of visual arts, particularly in the areas of Drawing and Painting.
Exhibiting since 2000, highlight for the participation between 1993 and 1998 in the Independent Theater Group "OLHO" from Portugal and exhibitions such as "The Sitio das Artes" in 2007 at the Centro de Arte Moderna, promoted by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation within its celebrations of the 50th Anniversary and "Loop: Contemporary Video Art from the EU" in 2010, representing Portugal at the National Portrait Gallery, Washington, USA.
Still to be highlighted is the 2018 exhibition "Variations Portugaises" in the Center for Contemporary Art Abbaye Saint Andre - CAC Meymac in Meymac, France and the exhibition Constellations: A choreography of minimal gestures in Berardo Collection Museum, 2019, Lisbon, Portugal.
He's represented nationally and internationally in collections such as PLMJ (Portugal), Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon (Portugal), CAPC (Portugal), Al Maqam (Mohamed Mourabiti, Morocco), Assilah Forum Foundation (Morocco) and Al Asmakh Collection (Qatar).
